SideQuest Theater is hosting a staged reading of the feature comedy, Confirmation, written by Tom England on March 8, 2025 at 2 PM.

Confirmation tells the story of a jaded former Catholic being dragged back into parish life after his deceased best friend's son chooses him to be his Confirmation sponsor.

A collection of Philadelphia's top comedic talent lends their voice to this script which was a Semi-Finalist in the 2024 Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards.

It's a script full of heart, hilarity and just enough Catholic guilt to keep you honest.

About the Writer: Tom England is a Philly-based screenwriter and improvisor.  He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television Professional Program in Screenwriting.  You can catch Tom on stage as a regular performer at ComedySportz Philly, where he is also an improv instructor.  Recent stage credits:  Hallmarkable, The Mirror Zone, Off the Record
